President Valencia City Council , Pablo Montoya, said the property tax could be increased by 25 percent, because that is the amount of inflation projected for next year by the Government.

The increase will be fixed when punished Ordinance Urban Real Estate Tax. The mayor proposed that the increase is 60 percent, but the decision will the council in accordance with the reality of the country.
Montoya said that for now 25 percent is being discussed with the legal advisory council and the various communities.

The mayor noted that this tax has not changed since 2008. They have to pay both property used for housing and for commercial use.
